Birthday Card for Paula-Kay

I had to wait to post this until after she received her card.  The stamp is Sunflowers T-3292 from The Angel Company and colored with Copic Markers.  The white dots on the pitcher are done with a  white Glaze Gelly Pen.  The white cardstock is cut using Spellbinders Nestabilities Label 10.  The yellow background paper is from the Miss Moxie Soar With It Collection, also from The Angel Company.  Birthday Blessings, is from Love You TB-3362 a Level B Hostess Set.

Tomorrow I hope to finish my Christmas cards so I can get them off in the mail!

Where did the time go?

Wow, sorry I haven't posted in so long! Mostly I've been stamping. However, to catch up a bit, here is Pat's (my DH) Birthday card from back in October.
The Mickey and the Mickey Hat were cut on the Cricut from the Mickey & Friends cartridge.  The mountains are from The Angel Company stamp set Going Places.  The wire is supposed to be the roller coaster Expedition Everest at Disney's Animal Kingdom which is where we went for Pat's birthday.

This card is for my girlfriend Karen's birthday.  Again, this was cut on using Mickey & Friends.  She loves Minnie Mouse and roses.  The card front is just Minnie Mouse.  The white you see around it is the back of the card and the sentiment is below Minnie.

These are Gift Cans that I made last year for a craft sale.  I sold some, but these were left overs.  They are great for those odd shaped things.

The Snowmen are from the limited Snow Friends cartridge from 2009.  The extra Snowmen allowed the user to choose which one they wanted to put on their can.  The can is a cappuccino can that I covered with white cardstock after it had been run through my Sizzix machine with a snowflake embossing folder.  The snow mountains around the bottom is using cardstock that has been torn.  The stickers are miscellaneous ones I had around here.

Here is a larger can that I did using a Soy Protein mix can.  I cut the Gingerbread Boy from Stretch Your Imagination and the candies from Christmas Cheer.

These are using Crystal Light containers. I covered them with patterned cardstock from a discontinued set from The Angel Company. The tags are also from that set.  These snowmen are from Christmas Cheer.

I am going to be posting more Christmas items soon.  Stay tuned!

Happpy Thanksgiving

This card was done using Our Daily Bread stamps for their ODBDSLC38 Holiday Card Challenge.  The design is colored with Copic Markers and then it was cut using Spellbinders Nestibility Labels Ten and the orange cardstock is embossed with a Quickcutz Embossing Folder.

More cards!

From the Hello Day set T-3330, but without the cat.  I colored the girls with Copic Markers and added accents with Glaze Jelly Pens and Stardusst Glittering Gelly Pens.  I cut the blue one using Spellbinders Large Labels K-303 and the purple from another Spellbinders set & the purple edge is cut with Wavy dots edge punch from EK Sucess.
The girl is from It's Your Day set T3333 and is cut with Spellbinders Lable 5 set K-298.  The film strip was cut from a Cricut cartridge and the acrylic was stamped with various sayings from The Angel Company stamps.  I also did one in yellow!
This girl is from the same It's your Day set T-3333.  The sayings are from Laugh Lines T-3368 and the inside is stamped with "I would be happy to do it for you."  Both girls are cut using the Spellbinders Labels 1 set K300.  The background spots and strips are discontinued from The Angel Company.

New cards!

Sorry to be so long in getting something posted!  I've been cleaning and reorganizing my craft room and it STILL isn't done.  I am hoping to finish it this week.

However, I have gotten a few cards done - so here they are:

Hello Day T-3330 has the Girl and Cat and the saying is from Oh No She Didn't T-3332. She is stamped using the Tuxedo Black Memento pad & colored with Copic Markers. The glasses and Polka Dots are dimensional using a yellow Glaze Jelly pen. The background paper is from the Brighten My Day collection V-901. The card stock was cut and the corners rounded and the edge was colored red using a Copic Marker. The circle edge was also colored. The inside of the card is blank - - - for now.

These two girls are from the Oh No She Didn't T-3332 and are so stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and colored with Copic Markers.  The purple frame on the left card is using a Spellbinders Lattice Shapeabilities Pendant Die-Cut and the background papers on both cards are Bazzill Lime Sherbet V-369.  Accents in both cards are from using Glaze Jelly Pens.  The sentiments are rub-ons from My Sentiments Exactly.  The inside of the Birthday card says, "Sending 'Happy' little thoughts Today & Always".  The Umbrella Girl says, ". . . trust in the Lord, He'll see you through!  I Peter 5:10".

From the Wonder & Joy T-3254, these 2 girls are stamped using the Tuxedo Black Memento Pad and colored with Copic markers.  They also have the Glaze Jelly Pen Accents.  The Flower Pot girl is cut with Spellbinders Label 4 K-302 once with the image and again - a little larger using a pretty pink Bazzill card stock.  The background paper is from a discontinued :( collection from The Angel Company and the sentiment is a rub-on from My Sentiments Exactly.  The Orange Girl is cut with Spellbinders Large Labels K-303 and then popped up on the orange card stock and surround by matching orange printed paper from the Brighten My Day V-901 that has been first trimmed to 4" x 5.25" and then cut using the same Large Labels set, but a larger die than for the girl.  The sentiment is a rub-on from My Sentiments Exactly and the inside says, "I always thank God for you! I Cor. 1:4".  ( I use rub-ons when I am in a hurry or being lazy)
Lastly, we have another girl stamped using a Level A Hostess Set One of A Kind TA-3337.  She is stamped using Palette Noir Ink and colored with Copic Markers.  The Palette ink doesn't work as well as the Memento pads as it may bleed a little when the Copic pen goes over the lines.  Her flower is colored with Glaze Jelly pens.  The background red paper is a sparkle paper that was discontinued from The Angel Company line and the red floral paper is from Brighten My Day V-901 cut with the Spellbinders Big Scalloped Squares Large.  The Girl is cut with the same die-cut in the next smaller size and is popped up.  The large white flower is a Bazzill from the Neutral Mix Bitty Blossoms (not sure why they call these 'bitty') and backed with a scalloped circle punched white cardstock.  The yellow center is a large brad.  The Sentiments - both inside and outside are a Purchace With a Purchase set Thought of You TW-3356 and the inside says, "and my heart was filled with joy."

I will post photos of the craft room when it is completed!
Blessings,
Cindie

Recent cards

My friend Judy was born just 4 days after me.  This was her birthday card this year.  The stamp is from Oh No She Didn't T-3332 & the printed paper from Kaleidoscope Girls V-920.

Vanessa is my youngest daughter and she celebrated her 28th birthday in May.  She loves the beach, surfing and sand.  I made the VW bug using Bug of Fun T-3241.  The sand & shells are real (from Hawaii)!
Vanessa & Star just celebrated their first wedding anniversary and their card is made using Artsy Owls T-3038 and paper from Winchester Soar With It V-835.  I love the Googlie Eyes - not that they are googlie!

The next 3 cards were done as contest entries for Terrific Trio in May.  They didn't win :(  but here they are anyway.  The stamps are from Little Bird T-3249 and the sayings from Savy Sayings T-3256.  The cardstock is the Lilly Anna Soar With V-833 and matching cardstock B-314.

The baby card was from my friend Stephanie.  She did her baby's room in these colors with Lady Bugs.  The stamp is now discontinued, but was one I just loved.

A few more cards!

Here are a few more cards done with the Cricut. The one with the piano is Pat's Father's Day card. He had a beautiful baby grand when we married. It has been replace by electric keyboards. The keyboards sound better but aren't as beautiful!
Blessings to all on this my fifty-eighth birthday! (If I spell it out it doesn't look as bad)

Just Getting Started

Hi All!
Here is my first attempt at a blog. I am going to be posting Cricut Projects that I have done. I now have a Gypsy & I'm having a blast with it. This morning I spent several hours with my daughter at a dr's appointment for her. I designed several cards which I'll post in the coming days.

These are ones that I've done in the past - some with the Gypsy and some without.
Thanks!
